Ruth Tanti from the Ying Yang Kickboxing Club will represent Malta in an International Kickboxing Competition organized by the World Kickboxing Network (WKN) in Lyon, France.

A lot of people start their martial arts due to a little motivation.
Being picked on or bullied, competing for a girl or pride, or simply due to watching too many martial arts flicks.
Here is a case of taking up a martial arts and taking it all the way to World Champion.
A boy who took up karate after being bullied at school has won a third international champion title in the martial art.
Reece Hamilton, 12, from Northfleet, was picked on at primary school so started doing karate in 2002 for self-defence and to build up his confidence.
